Rob was born and raised in Noblesville, Indiana but recently moved to Anderson with his wife of almost 35 years, Shari. Together they have raised five children and recently became grandparents! Rob’s proudest achievement in life so far has been raising his family.
Long before working at Redwood Auto, Rob had a successful career as a pre-cast concrete builder. Some of his work can be seen at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse, The Indianapolis Art’s Garden and The Noblesville Courthouse. He even had the honor of building a structure in Bloomington Indiana, called The Kalachakra Stupa, for the Dalai Lama. It was unveiled to the Dalai Lama during his visit in 1999. “I really enjoy diversity. I find it very fascinating to learn about different cultures, religions and world views.”
Rob loves to ride four-wheelers, go fishing and spend time in his backyard. When he isn’t at Redwood Auto, he can usually be found enjoying his wife’s cooking or reading, specifically about historical events and scientific theories. “Most of all, I’m a Hoosier. I love that I’m from Indiana. I love the values of the people here. I love being a part of a mid-west community, knowing my neighbors and contributing to the good in my area.”
Favorite part about working at Redwood Auto: I like working in an owner-operator style business. I really love working with my family. I enjoy the challenge of mechanical work and working with my hands. I feel great pride in achievement from my work here.
